How much do wedding flowers cost?
You can't deny that one of the most beautiful parts of a wedding is the gorgeous floral arrangements. Whether we're talking the bouquet or the table decor, flowers add colour and a sense of romance to your special day.
According to this guide, it's common for couples to spend about 5% of their overall budget on wedding flowers. So if your budget is $20,000, that would equal out to approximately $1,000.
Of course, every couple (and every wedding style) is different. There's no right or wrong, so do whatever makes you happy on your special day. While flowers look beautiful, they're not essential. On a budget? Opt for fake flowers instead.
You can opt to organise the flowers yourself or hire a florist to do it for you. If you do plan to do it yourself, our list of online retailers above will surely help!
With an array of options available, you'll notice that wedding flowers can be expensive. Flowers, in general, are expensive and the prices can depend on how many you need, the types of flowers you choose and whether they're in season. Some retailers also take into account a service fee which includes things like delivery and set-up.
