Where you can buy the Kailijumei lipsticks that everyone is talking about
The jelly flower lipsticks that went viral last week sold out almost instantly. But they've been restocked today!
Beauty fanatics all over the Internet lost their marbles last week after seeing pictures of Kailijumei lipsticks. Asian beauty brand, Kailijumei joined Instagram about four weeks ago, posting photos of its unique jelly lipsticks. The transparent lip product contains flowers and flecks of gold foil, making it just about the prettiest lipstick we've ever seen.
Pictures of this amazing lipstick - which comes in four shades - went viral last week. In addition to looking like a lipstick fit for a Disney Princess, the soft hues of the lipstick actually change colour with your body temperature. Just like a mood ring, only cooler.
Naturally, these awe inspiring lipsticks sold out as soon as images started to emerge onto the mainstream media outlets. In fact, there were so many people trying to buy these gorgeous little lip treats that the Kailijumei site crashed a few times.
The small China based brand promised to restock its products this week and it did not disappoint. Kailijumei posted an Instagram on the official account a few hours ago announcing that its jelly flower lipsticks are officially back in stock. Hooray!
For anyone wanting to get their hands on one of these, you had better get in sooner rather than later before they sell out again. At $30 US or $40.50 AU per lippy (plus $4.04 AU in shipping charges), they aren't exactly outside the realms of affordability.
If you're looking for a better price, there are some Kailijumei lipsticks available on eBay. Be warned, Kailijumei has told customers that some of the very cheap jelly lipsticks on eBay are not genuine.
So, if you're shopping outside of the official Kailijumei site, be discerning and check that it is the genuine article that you're paying for. Here are a few of the Kailijumei lipsticks available on eBay right now.
