Buy for $893

The PlayStation 5 Console - EA Sports FIFA 23 Bundle comes with the disc version of the console plus the complete game FIFA 23.

So how does this price compare to the RRP?

The PS5 currently has a recommended retail price of $799.95 (following a $50 price hike in August.) FIFA 23, meanwhile, has an RRP of $109.95. Together, that works out to $909.90.

So you're saving around $12 here compared to buying both products individually.

But that's really besides the point. The PlayStation 5 has been nearly impossible to buy since it launched in 2020. This is your first opportunity to buy it at a reasonable price in a very long while.

If you missed out on the PS5 offers above due to stock being sold out, you might still be able to get one from another retailer. eBay, EB Games, Target and JB Hi-Fi have also received fresh units.

About PlayStation 5

The PlayStation 5 is the latest and greatest video game console from Sony, competing directly against the Xbox Series X. Featuring vastly improved graphics with almost no load times, a brand new controller and a bevy of fresh first-party IP, it's poised to profoundly change the gaming landscape in the years to come. Crucially, it's also backwards compatible with most PlayStation 4 software, which means the majority of your old games will work on the new system.

The PS5 has been notoriously difficult to buy due to ongoing supply shortages. If you see one in the wild and a reasonable price you should snap it up without delay.

About FIFA 23

FIFA 23 will have 3 distinct editions across different consoles. Nintendo Switch users will play the Legacy Edition, which is essentially a reskin of the FIFA 22 Legacy Edition "without any new development or significant enhancements". However, it will feature new stadiums, upscaled visuals and women's club football.

The standard edition of FIFA 23 will be playable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pick up this version of the game and you can expect the usual generational jump in FIFA games, with expansive World Cup modes on the men's and women's sides and refreshed gameplay when it comes to shooting, free kicks, corners, physics and more.

It's the Mbappé Edition, available on the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5, that really takes things up a notch. This version of the game utilises HyperMotion2 to unlock new features and add over 6,000 authentic animations. This is possible because HyperMotion 2 technology analyses twice as much real-life gameplay as previous versions of the technology

Paris-Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappé returns to adorn the cover of FIFA 23, completing a hat-trick of visual representation for the 23-year-old French phenom.
