COVID cases are rising throughout Australia, and Sydney and NSW are once again at the fore. Though the government is standing pat on its stance of living with COVID, many residents are curious about what measures they can take to protect themselves, their family and their community.

Although masks aren't mandatory in many settings in NSW, they're still one of the simplest tools we have to stem the spread of COVID-19. Health advice has been consistent throughout the pandemic: Wherever practicable, mask-wearing in crowded settings is a good idea.

N95 masks are more effective in filtering out COVID-19 than other options, and are the best choice for mitigating the spread of the virus. While many of us have supplies of cloth and surgical masks lying around our homes, the same is often not true of their more durable counterparts. That's why we've assembled this guide to your best options for buying N95 and KN95 face masks in Sydney and NSW.

If you're curious as to the differences between N95 and KN95 face masks, KN95 masks are simply a Chinese equivalent of N95 masks, which are more breathable thanks to tent-like design.
