Psst, Monkey Magic just got fully remastered on Blu-ray

The beloved Monkey TV series has returned to DVD and Blu-ray in a deluxe box set and you can currently get nearly 31% off.
For Aussies over a certain age, Monkey Magic (or MONKEY, to give it its proper title) was an indelible part of growing up. Every afternoon after school, we would gather around the TV set, switch on "Channel 2" and watch the mythical hijinks of Monkey, Pigsy, Sandy and Tripitaka. (This was invariably followed by Tom Baker's Doctor Who and Roger Ramjet. Those who were alive at the time know exactly what I'm talking about.)
It also popped up on the cult TV show Recovery and Television New Zealand in the mid 90s. As a result, there are a lot of Antipodean Monkey fans out there.
An all-new Monkey box set was recently released in Australia containing all 52 episodes of the series. That's over 38 hours of chop-socky action! Each episode has undergone a meticulous digital restoration compared to the old DVD transfer from several years ago. You can buy the set on DVD or Blu-ray spread across 12 and 10 discs, respectively.
For a limited time, you can get the Blu-ray version at Amazon Australia for 31% off the RRP. That's $125, down from $179.95. The DVD version is currently running for $89.98. If you don't like to shop online, the same deal is also available at JB Hi-Fi.
Currently, Monkey isn't available to stream on any Australian services, which makes this your best bet to revisit the classic series. You can grab the full series on Blu-ray and DVD below.
