We're tickled-pink over these new, dreamy Benefit highlighters. See all the pictures plus pricing and launch details.

Get ready, because Benefit Cosmetics is cooking up something new for us to ooh and aah over. The much-loved brand is bringing out two new highlighter shades to join the permanent collection.

The shades, called Cookie and Tickle, are two shimmery, dreamy powder formulas designed to give you a velvet glow. It's surprising, but Benefit actually only has one powder highlighter (sold as an individual that is), the Dandelion Twinkle powder. So, these two new shades will make fabulous additions to the permanent range. Of course, Benefit has plenty of liquid highlighters, but sometimes you just want a powder product – especially when it looks like this.

So first things first, where can you buy these bad boys? Well, these are already available at LookFantastic in the UK. But for all of us Australian shoppers, we're going to need to wait a little longer. Both shades are due to drop into Benefit's online store around 23 or 24 August, so you'll be able to shop then. But if you can wait and want to save some money on shipping, you should be able to grab the new highlighters at Benefit Australian stockists soon!

If you're thinking that the Cookie shade looks a little familiar, you'd be right. Cookie first debuted in the Cheerleader palette. Back by popular demand, it seems Benefit knows just how much we loved this colour because it has now been transformed into an individual.

Cookie is a warm, buttery shade with a lot of glow. Tickle, on the other hand, is cooler, a light pinky colour with an iridescent shimmer. Both powders are an ultra-fine formula that can be dusted over your face for a light sheen or packed on for some serious shine. The velvety texture is designed to minimise rather than accentuate texture, so you can wear it even if you're having a breakout.

Both pans are in the 8g size and are priced at US$30. There is no word on Australian pricing just yet but we'll keep you updated when we know more.

Benefit Cosmetics has had some exciting launches in recent months. The brand released a new foundation called Hello Happy Flawless Brightening Foundation, which is a full-coverage formula designed to give your complexion life. The brand also launched a sweet magenta brow shade to support the Bold is Beautiful project. And who could forget the fabulous Chloe Morello brow wardrobe?
