Flights to Buenos Aires dip down to $1,089 return with Air New Zealand
You can tango in Argentina for a bargain price right now!
New Zealand's flagship carrier Air New Zealand has just dropped its South America sale, boasting flights to Buenos Aires for as little as $1,089 return.
You'll need to depart from Melbourne between 15 October and 24 November 2017 or 1 February and 30 March 2018 to snap up this deal. If you're thinking this isn't a great time for the weather, think again. While the peak tourist season is between July and August, Argentina is actually great to travel year-round as its summers are pleasant enough for sightseeing and activities.
If you're based in another Aussie city, take heart. There are sale flights available from all across Australia during the same travel period.
- Adelaide to Buenos Aires from $1,282 return
- Brisbane to Buenos Aires from $1,288 return
- Sydney to Buenos Aires from $1,296 return
- Perth to Buenos Aires from $1,558 return
All flights can be booked online through Flight Centre at a guaranteed low price.
This sale comes just a few weeks after LATAM Airlines launched its low season airfare sale, which boasts heavily discounted flights to multiple South American cities in its network. LATAM Airlines not only offers a wider range of destinations, the sale fares also cover a wider range of dates from 6 October – 25 November,2017 and 19 February – 30 June 2018.
LATAM Airlines' starting prices also come up $60 more expensive than Air New Zealand's, with flights between Melbourne and Buenos Aires going for $1,149 return. However, if you're flying out of Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane in 2018, you may be better off going with LATAM as its fares to Buenos Aires are $1,149 return no matter which city you're flying from.
The Air New Zealand Buenos Aires sale ends midnight 17 August 2017 unless seats sell out prior.
Once booked, make sure you check out your travel insurance options for South America to ensure you're covered in case anything goes wrong, as well as your travel money options to make sure you've got the right cash while overseas.
