According to the whitepaper, Bridge Oracle is designed to connect blockchains with external data and inject real-world information into smart contracts. For example, a business that wants to promote a video can set up a smart contract with an influencer and make automatic payments based on the number of views.
Bridge Oracle was built on the Tron blockchain because of the high gas fees associated with Ethereum. After reigning as the first public oracle system built on the Tron network, it has now also migrated across to Binance Smart Chain. As Bridge Oracle is public, it allows the mass participation of users such as small businesses that can’t afford dedicated oracles.
The BRG token is the native cryptocurrency of the platform. The token is marketed as a more affordable payment solution for clients. Launched in September 2020, the initial exchange offering (IEO) sold out in just a few hours.
