Stores we’re expecting to have big Boxing Day sales
If you're looking for a massive bargain this Boxing Day, these are the retailers we think will be worth a look in.
With the Boxing Day sales now less than a week away, it's time to start thinking about what to splash some Christmas cash on. Given that a ton of stores are set to reduce prices across a range of categories though, it pays to find out which ones have the best offers before you buy.
To help you out, we've looked to last year's sales to see which retailers are likely to offer the biggest bargains this year.
1. General Pants Co.
Last year: Up to 60% off in-store and online.
General Pants Co. is known to pull out all the stops during peak sales periods and we expect this Boxing Day to be no different. In 2018 the fashion retailer offered a huge up to 60% off, so we're hoping to see something similar come next week. Its deals usually apply across a range of great brands including Dr. Martens, Stussy, Patagonia and Dr Denim, so it's worth heading here first if you're keen to stock up your wardrobe.
2. David Jones
Last year: 40% off a range of home and bedding + 50% off a range of fashion and accessories.
If it's homewares you're after, David Jones is a pretty safe bet. The upmarket retailer runs frequent sales, but really amps things up when it comes to sales events like Black Friday and Boxing Day. You can expect to see prices dropped on a range of products including bedding, cookware and dinnerware, as well as on a range of fashion and accessories.
3. THE ICONIC
Last year: Up to 50% off clearance sale.
Never one to miss out on a good sale opportunity, THE ICONIC should be a go-to for any fashionista on Boxing Day. The site stocks thousands of pieces from all your favourite fashion labels, so you're bound to find something to love included in its sale on the day.
4. Sheridan
Last year: Up to 50% off everything.
Sheridan is arguably one of the best retailers around if you're looking for quality bedding and homewares. Its products do tend to come with a rather luxurious price tag attached though, making Boxing Day the ideal time to snap up its range. As Sheridan usually slashes prices site-wide during its sales, you should be able to pick up everything from pillows to quilt covers at a bargain price.
5. JB Hi-Fi
Last year: Various deals across a range of categories.
When it comes to home entertainment and technology, JB Hi-Fi nearly always has the best prices around. Based on its usual sales trends, we can expect to see discounts across a range of headphones, speakers, games, DVDs and computer accessories on the day. We may also see deals on big ticket items such as TVs and phones, so be sure to keep an eye out.
