Boost Mobile’s prepaid plans now come with even more data
New and existing Boost Mobile customers now get up to 8GB of extra data completely free.
If the best things in life truly are free, Boost Mobile is making a strong case for establishing itself as one of the better mobile providers out there.
Instead of simply introducing more expensive, more dataful plans to its existing line-up, the telco is today upping the data caps on all its prepaid plans of $20 or more at no extra charge. Same price, more data – who can complain about that?
Here's how these new plans compare to the old plans:
$20 recharge | $30 recharge | $40 recharge | $50 recharge | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Previous data cap | 1GB | 4GB | 8GB | 12GB |
New data cap | 2.5GB | 5GB | 15GB | 20GB |
Extra data isn't the only new bonus Boost Mobile is throwing in for free, either. Recharges of $30 or more now come with 100 minutes of international call credit to numbers in 50 select destinations. For the curious, these destinations are Bangladesh, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Kuwait, Laos, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Mongolia, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, American Samoa, Singapore, Slovakia Republic, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, the UK, the USA and Vietnam.
Plans below $30 can also benefit from more international credit with Boost Mobile's $15 international add-on, which now includes 100 minutes and 100 texts to standard numbers in 40 select destinations.
Along with these new perks, Boost Mobile continues to offer data rollover on recharges of $30 or more. This adds any unused data from one recharge onto the next one, giving you a second chance to use it up rather than losing it to the digital ether.
For those unfamiliar with Boost Mobile, it is one of the only mobile providers to offer full coverage on Telstra's 4G network – other than Telstra itself, of course.
