Finally, there’s a reward for procrastinating and not making your Easter vacation plans. If you’ve been waiting for just the right sale, then Air New Zealand has come through with their Discover NZ sale where you can score one-way flights from just $200.

These fares run on numerous routes from Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide bound for Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington and Queenstown.

The cheapest fare this time around is from Melbourne to Wellington from $200 each way. Other highlights include flights from Brisbane to Christchurch from $249, Sydney to Auckland from $249 and Adelaide to Wellington from $312.

Flights in this Air New Zealand sale are for travel on select dates from 3 April to 30 November 2019. That's right. Not only can you jump on a last-minute flight to New Zealand, but this sale includes the Easter long weekend.

Bookings can be made via Air New Zealand’s website but hurry! This sale ends midnight 10 April 2019.

How good are these fares?

Price: Great. We’ve seen Air New Zealand fares drop as low as $149 one way in the past, but if you’re looking for last-minute flights, then these are currently the cheapest you can find.

Airline: Great. Air New Zealand is a lauded airline that is considered one of the best carriers in the Asia/Pacific region. These fares are seat only, but you can add checked bags for $20 each way.

Travel time: Great. Most flights are direct while a couple of routes include a stopover in Auckland.

Weather: Great. Flights include autumn, winter and spring dates. Pick and choose your season as you prefer and if you’re looking for the best time to visit for snow sports, we’d suggest June to August.
