What you need to know about Boohoo’s Pride collection 2019
Available right now, this year's Pride collection is all about love without limits.
This year in particular, the limited edition capsule collection has been designed to empower, support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community by creating apparel for all. The range of absolutely-on-trend designs have been crafted to appeal to people from all walks of life – both inside and outside of the community.
Most importantly, 10% of the profits from the collection will be going to a good place. This money will be divided between the LGBT Foundation and OutRight Action International, two important charities that offer support when people need it the most. So there are plenty of reasons to get behind the powerful collection.
Boohoo says that the inspiration behind the designs comes from the unity of standing together and loving one another to ultimately create a kinder and more accepting world. Slogan prints play a huge part in the messaging this year with some of the key words reading: "Validity", "Unity", "Proud To Be" and most importantly "Love Without Limits", expressing how love is a universal language. Another interesting point this year is that black and brown stripes have been incorporated into as many pieces as possible, reflecting the inclusion of these colours within the new Pride flag.
The range features more than 100 whimsical and colourful pieces spanning ready-to-wear gear and accessories. We particularly love the fun tie-dye pieces, but there are plenty of block colours and festival t-shirt styles too. So there are pieces for those who want to make a bold statement and also for those who prefer a more toned down aesthetic.
Samir Kamani CEO of boohooMAN.com said of the collection, "Both boohoo and boohooMAN are proud to come together again to create their third Pride collection. We believe as a brand that diversity and inclusion are to be celebrated and what better time to celebrate self-love than during Pride?"
