This double-duty sleeping mask provides a long-lasting wash of colour and ultimate hydration.

In case you missed the memo, Pure by Bondi Sands is a brand new range, only launching in early 2021. What makes it so different from other tanning products on the market? The answer is in both the formula and the packaging.

The Pure range is made from skin-loving ingredients, free from fragrance, dye and sulphates. It arrives in packaging made from 100% recyclable materials, and also happens to be vegan and cruelty-free.

While the range introduced a number of brand new products – and I was lucky enough to receive them all – I was most excited to try the Sleep Mask. I don't particularly like to use my normal fake tan on my face as I find it can sometimes look patchy and also not react well to my acne-prone skin.

If you've also been looking for a face tanning solution, I think you're going to love this.

The quick verdict

Why is it good? This double-duty sleeping mask provides a long-lasting wash of colour and ultimate hydration.

How much is it? $22.99 for 75mL.

Where to buy it: ASOS and Priceline.

The Bondi Sands Pure Sleep Mask is designed to give you that iconic Aussie golden glow with a bunch of skin-loving ingredients. It's formulated with hyaluronic acid for hydration, vitamin C for a brightening effect and vitamin E for repair and restoration.

The nourishing formula is colourless, dermatologically tested and non comedogenic.

Verdict

To put it simply, the Bondi Sands Pure Sleep Mask has just made its way into a permanent position in my fake tan routine. Not only does it provide a gorgeous and long-lasting wash of colour, but I wake up with super hydrated and nourished skin with no irritation in sight.

I apply it to freshly cleansed skin, and since it provides plenty of hydration, I don't follow up with any other skincare products.

After using it a few times, I will say that you need to wash your hands afterwards and don't apply too much. Start with a pea-sized amount and gradually apply more if you truly need it.

Also, be careful not to apply too much around your hairline and eyebrows, as it can also lightly stain any blonde hairs you may have.

If you've been on the hunt for a face tanning solution and struggle with sensitive skin, I think this new product will be a godsend for you.

Affordability

The Bondi Sands Pure Sleep Mask will set you back less than $30, retailing at $22.99 for 75mL.

For the price, I do think it's worth it as a little goes a long way, plus, the colour itself actually lasts 3-5 days with no reapplication.

Where to buy

Right now, you can pick up this product and the rest of the range from stockists like ASOS and Priceline. Alternatively, you can also shop directly from Bondi Sands online.
