KOGE is the native cryptocurrency of the BNB48 Club. Launched in 2018, the BNB48 Club is a decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) that was initially founded by a group of fellow investors that felt passionately about the Binance Coin - BNB. BNB is the native cryptocurrency of the Binance Chain blockchain, Binance Smart Chain blockchain, and contributes to the whole of the Binance exchange ecosystem. According to the BNB48 Club website, one of the key initiatives of the organisation is to actively participate and support the creation of nodes with the Binance Smart Chain blockchain. They also support the creation of nodes within the Cosmos blockchain; BNB48’s node is the 21st largest in the Kava DeFi protocol which is built on top of Cosmos. With regards to other activities, the club also focuses on angel investments, project incubation, and yield farming opportunities. All activities are supported by the club’s treasury. The KOGE token is used for the operation of the BNB48 Club DAO. Each KOGE token holder has the right to participate in the club’s DAO and the token is also used to pay out any dividends from the work that is achieved within the Binance or Cosmos ecosystems.
