Black Friday started in-store, but now some of the best deals are found online - here are our picks.

Savvy shoppers should be looking online for the best deals in Australia this Black Friday. According to a report by Bankrate only 23% of Americans are planning to shop instore this Black Friday - most preferring to stick to browsing online. This trend is even truer for the Australian market given that many of the most popular shops in the country, like Missguided, THE ICONIC and Boohoo, don't have a physical store front.

So it's no surprise that most of the competitive Black Friday deals we're seeing are based online. Online stores like Catch of the Day, Vaniday and Zanui are offering massive storewide percentage deals the likes of which you won't see at storefront competitors. Those looking to score the best deals in the run-up to Christmas should be looking online or at the very least comparing the comprehensive list of Black Friday online deals with physical store offerings in order to maximise savings.

To help you work out which are the best online deals to take advantage of, here is a list of the top 20 deals not to miss out on this Black Friday.
