If you're looking to pick up the Nintendo Switch at a discount this Black Friday, you're in luck. There are a number of big discounts on Nintendo's iconic console at a few different retailers.
You can save 13% off the RRP of the Nintendo Switch console at Target this Black Friday. At just $409, this is an absolute bargain and one of the best offers you'll find on what is sure to be a hot Christmas present.
eBay Plus members can enjoy a 15% saving on the Nintendo Switch console with neon Joy-Cons as part of the online retailer's huge Black Friday sale. The discount makes the popular Switch console just $412.21, down from $484.95. You need to enter the code PTETE15 at checkout to get the discounted price
If you're after a more portable version of the Switch console, eBay has you covered, with 20% off the RRP of $329.95. You need to use the code PTETE15 at checkout, but that will get you the portable console for just $264.31.
The saving is not quite as large as the eBay offer, but you can still cut 10% off the price of a Nintendo Switch Lite at Amazon during the Black Friday sale, bringing the pricetag down to $295.99.
Target is offering the Switch Lite console at a discounted rate as well. Instead of paying full RRP, you can save 12% and pick up the handheld device for just $289
Join Club Catch and enjoy FREE shipping on eligible orders over $45 and exclusive access to the best deals for just $6.50/month or $69/year. T&Cs apply.
What to consider when buying a Nintendo Switch on Black Friday (27th November)?
Extra controllers
The Joy-Cons that come with the Nintendo Switch are decent enough for on-the-go gaming, but if you're looking to sit down on your couch and play your Switch on the TV, you'll probably want to pick up a separate Pro controller. The Nintendo Switch Pro controller takes more than a few cues from the ever-popular Xbox 360 gamepad, ditching the odd button and stick layout of the Joy-Cons in favour of Microsoft's more familiar configuration. Especially if you're coming from the Xbox One or PS4, picking up a Pro controller can make gaming on the Switch far more comfortable.
Extra storage
Nintendo Switch games are usually fairly small, but it still won't take you long to fill up the 32GB of onboard storage the console ships with. Fortunately, it's easy enough to expand that storage by purchasing a microSD card, with the Switch supporting cards up to 2TB in size. MicroSD cards are quite cheap, too, so it's worth investing in a relatively large one to store your saves and games downloaded from the Nintendo eShop.

finder.com.au has access to track details from the product issuers listed on our sites. Although we provide information on the products offered by a wide range of issuers, we don't cover every available product or service.
Please note that the information published on our site should not be construed as personal advice and does not consider your personal needs and circumstances. Products marked as 'Promoted' or 'Advertisement' are prominently displayed either as a result of a commercial advertising arrangement or to highlight a particular product, provider or feature. Finder may receive remuneration from the Provider if you click on the related link, purchase or enquire about the product. Finder's decision to show a 'promoted' product is neither a recommendation that the product is appropriate for you nor an indication that the product is the best in its category. We encourage you to use the tools and information we provide to compare your options.
Where our site links to particular products or displays 'Go to site' buttons, we may receive a commission, referral fee or payment when you click on those buttons or apply for a product. You can learn more about how we make money here.
When products are grouped in a table or list, the order in which they are initially sorted may be influenced by a range of factors including price, fees and discounts; commercial partnerships; product features; and brand popularity. We provide tools so you can sort and filter these lists to highlight features that matter to you.
We try to take an open and transparent approach and provide a broad-based comparison service. However, you should be aware that while we are an independently owned service, our comparison service does not include all providers or all products available in the market.
Some product issuers may provide products or offer services through multiple brands, associated companies or different labelling arrangements. This can make it difficult for consumers to compare alternatives or identify the companies behind the products. However, we aim to provide information to enable consumers to understand these issues.
Providing or obtaining an estimated insurance quote through us does not guarantee you can get the insurance. Acceptance by insurance companies is based on things like occupation, health and lifestyle. By providing you with the ability to apply for a credit card or loan, we are not guaranteeing that your application will be approved. Your application for credit products is subject to the Provider's terms and conditions as well as their application and lending criteria.
