Black Friday and Cyber Monday extended sales for travel

Because no one likes to miss out.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone, but some of the travel deals have been extended giving you one last chance to snap up a cheap holiday.

We've rounded up the best of what's still going on.

But hurry, because they probably won't be extended any longer.

1. Contiki: Up to 30% off tours

As part of its Cyber Sale, both domestic and international tours are up to 30% off at Contiki. So ditch building your own itinerary and let an expert take you around to all the best places.

Local trips can take you sailing around the Great Barrier Reef or walking around Uluru.

2. G Adventures: $1 deposits and up to 21% off tours with G Adventures

G Adventures, the small group experts, has extended its sale an extra WEEK. That gives you stacks more time to rope in your mates to secure your 2021 and 2022 travel plans.

On offer are $1 upfront deposits and up to 21% off trips.

Even if you can't convince your friends to join you, you can score your own room at up to 21% off as well.

Sale highlights include this Phuket to Phuket sailing tour and Galapagos West and Central Islands voyager.

3. Trafalgar: Up to $700 off the Best Of 2021 trips

The countdown is on to snatch up the best tours for 2021 with Trafalgar. And with up to $700 worth of savings to be had, you can afford to splurge on souvenirs while away.

The biggest savings are on European tours such as this 13-day Best of Italy tour where you can save $703. Or, this Best of France tour where you can save $700.

4. TourRadar: Up to 70% off worldwide trips

TourRadar pulls the biggest brand names and tours together so you can compare, contrast and pick the one that suits your travel needs. Its Cyber Sale has up to 70% off trips. Bag the biggest savings by booking a tour around Europe, Africa or Asia.

Local deals are also on the chopping block with Great Barrier Reef trips at up to 25% off, Northern Territory trips up to 15% off and New Zealand tours at up to 22% off.

5. Skyscanner: Up to 48% off flights

Searching for flights? Skyscanner is constantly combing its deals to find you the very best ones at any given moment. Right now, it's featuring domestic flights at up to 48% off. Sample fares include Sydney-Launceston from $226 return, Hobart-Melbourne at $118 return and Brisbane-Perth journeys from $403 return.

While these aren't official Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales they are on sale right now and are worth checking out.

6. Virgin Australia: $75 flights

Virgin Australia's Happy Hour is back and it's starting off with a cracker of a sale. Flights are down to $75 a pop (that'll get you from Newcastle to Melbourne or vice-versa) and travel is during peak-season summer dates.

Been putting off a summer vacay? Virgin Australia can change that. Travel dates are available from 5 December to 24 March. Christmas and New Year's aren't included but Australia Day is for some routes.

7. Qantas: Flights from $109

Fly into 2021 in style with the flying kangaroo thanks to its latest domestic sale. This one includes dozens of routes across the nation. And with a starting price of $109 each way, which includes checked-luggage and seat selection, it's a savvy traveller's dream.

Plus, don't forget about all those frequent flyer points you can rack up from your trip.

8. P&O: $1 deposits and up to $1,000 on-board spending money

Those who have been missing life on the seas can look no further than P&O to cure their wanderlust. Right now you'll only be charged $1 per person to lock-in your holiday and you can sail as early as 16 February 2021.

Book a 2022 cruise instead and you'll be sitting pretty with $1 deposits and up to $1,000 in credit to spend on board on drinks, entertainment, souvenirs and more.
