Last year, Kmart held its first ever Black Friday sale and avid Kmart shoppers around Australia went crazy for the offers. We saw a bunch of new and exclusive products drop on-site and in-store, at incredible price points.

Callum Smith is Kmart's General Manager General Merchandise. In a press release, he said:

"Black Friday was incredibly popular and well received by our loyal customers last year. As a team, we had some learnings from the event and understanding of the types of products our customers love. We can't wait for our customers to see what's on offer this year."

"Some of last year's much-loved favourites have returned with a new twist as well as completely new lines never seen before. The products will be hot property and once they are gone, they're gone! We encourage our amazing community to get in-store quick or shop online to not miss out."

Black Friday is a 24-hour event, which will be held this year on 27 November. The mega sales event is closely followed by Cyber Monday, which falls on 30 November and sees even more bargains offered by online stores.
