Black Friday is the ideal time to get that mobile phone upgrade you've been putting off. A host of the biggest brands are racing to secure your business. If recent years are anything to go by, these deals won't last for very long.

Whether you're an advocate of all things iPhone or an Android aficionado, there's sure to be a great deal to find in Black Friday 2020. Here are some of the best mobile phone offers we've come across so far.

Best mobile phone Black Friday 2020 deals

  • The Huawei P30 Pro is yours for a ridiculous $799.68 if you buy on eBay using the code PTETE15. It's main pitch is its triple-lens camera system, including SuperSpectrum sensor - but it also has great battery life and some of the best performance we've seen out of any Android phone. And there's plenty more this pocket rocket offers. Read our review to see the full specs.
  • Samsung Galaxy Note20 256GB: Our first of three hot picks from Samsung is this premium Note, which is now available for just $1,039 at The Good Guys. You'll save almost a third from (31%) its usual sale price of $1,499. Enjoy a top-notch camera, three body colour options and a fast in-display fingerprint reader.
  • In another win for the Good Guys, you can take advantage of a near-40% drop in the price of the LG G8s ThinQ. It's now down to just $479 from its RRP of $799. With a solid battery life, good audio and Premium Snapdragon performance, you'll get a great phone at an even better price. You can also find a superb deal in the near-premium LG Velvet, a 5G handset which comes in at a very tidy price of $710.
  • Get 24% off the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and save a Xmas-friendly $248 from its former price of $995. Our expert reviewer perhaps summed up the attractive Fan Edition best, saying it "boils down the essential greatest hits from its entire phone 2020 phone range into a handset that costs less than most of them, and in many ways is a whole lot better." Elsewhere, if you think that 5G really is the future, then you can choose this phone's souped-up sibling for only $848.
  • OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition: It may be a lesser-known brand on these shores, but Chinese firm OnePlus' premium device is a steal at $749, instead of $999 after Kogan generously took 25% off. This powerful model pairs a sleek design with excellent features, not least a massive 6.67-inch AMOLED display.
  • One of the cheapest handsets you're likely to come across in these frenzied days of sales is Nokia's 2720 Flip. The 4G handset sets you back only $109 after Amazon shaved 26% off its RRP of $149. Or, you could save $10 more than you would have with the Flip by opting for the Nokia 800 Tough. Its one-time asking price of $199 has sunk to $149. Our review explains why this versatile phone offers a great balance of easy-to-use features at a competitive price.

More awesome handset deals are sure to be announced at the speed of an SMS in the coming days.
