Get ready to embrace your wild side with this exotic new collection.
Iconic German sandal brand, Birkenstock, has once again aligned with American fashion retailer, Opening Ceremony, for a new range of slides that are a little on the wild side. Following the success of their all-glitter capsule earlier in the year, the labels have come together to create three new slip-on styles just in time for Christmas. If your wardrobe reads as a little more bold than classic, then this is the collection for you.
The collaboration has re-imagined the popular Arizona sandal in two new designs: zebra print hair-on-hide uppers and a more understated pebbled white pair. Both styles sport tonal buckles and a leather-wrapped cork footbed for luxurious style and premium comfort. The new line also boasts a new closed-toe Boston Exquisite Clog in a leopard print update. The clog features a pony hair upper, adding an element of cosiness to the design.

Birkenstock uses only high quality materials and has formulated the footbeds in each shoe to allow for stretch and improved circulation. This means that not only are the new slip-ons stylish, they're also super comfortable, giving you even more reason to ditch the heels for a pair of these this Christmas. With the collection ranging in price from AUD$374.40-$433.15, this might be something worth asking Santa for.
When and where can you buy the collection?
The limited edition capsule was released on 7 December, meaning that you can already get your hands on a pair. The collaboration is exclusively available for purchase on Opening Ceremony's website or at their flagship stores.
If you're looking for comfortable seasonal footwear but an animal print isn't for you, the previous glitter line is still available for purchase on the Opening Ceremony website. Better yet, to make way for the new capsule, the sparkly slides have been majorly discounted so you might want to check them out asap.
