Alt-rockers Birds of Tokyo trade their wings for an Uber to visit the office.

Perth punters Birds of Tokyo teamed up with Uber and Triple M to offer Sydney workers the once-in-a-lifetime chance to have the ARIA winners perform for their offices between 12pm and 3pm this Friday. was one of the first to throw up a hand to witness an exclusive acoustic set in our York St HQ in the heart of Sydney.

Setting up in a matter of minutes, Birds of Tokyo slammed into a raw acoustic version of their smash hit 'Plans'. With smartphones being the modern-day lighter, almost every finder staff member had theirs up to record the entire experience.

The lucky Uber riders who got picked had the chance to hear Birds of Tokyo perform one song from Playlist - the new album from the Birds which is packed wall-to-wall with some of the group's biggest singles.
