Finder Beauty Fave: Biologi Nourish Lip Serum
Achieve kissable lips with 100% active ingredients, all thanks to Biologi.
Why we love this product
There's a new skincare brand on the block.
Biologi claims to be the world's first 100% active natural plant brand, mastering the entire production process from plant to bottle. All of the products are produced and packaged in Byron Bay. It contains no harmful chemicals, no additives or perfumes, not even water.
The skincare brand has popped up on my Instagram feed a few times. So, when Biologi reached out to me to trial some of the products, I was definitely intrigued.
Which one am I already loving? The newest launch: the Nourish Lip Serum.
The quick verdict
Why is it good? After continued use, my lips feel soft, smooth and nourished.
How much is it? $24 for 5mL
Biologi promises to create revolutionary skincare backed by science. In particular, the Nourish Lip Serum is unlike any other lip product on the market.
The Nourish Lip Serum is formulated with 100% Australian red finger lime, which has natural healing and protection properties. It's packed with active natural phytonutrients like Amines, Deoxy Glucitol, Phenolic acids and Flavone Glycosides.
Now I know what you're thinking... what do they actually do?
Well, they work together to increase moisture retention, protect from environmental factors and improve skin elasticity. At the same time, you can expect to see a decrease in dryness, redness and inflammation.
Rather than just sitting on top of the lips, the water-soluble formulation actually penetrates the skin's deepest layers. This works to regenerate cells, increase suppleness and aid in total hydration.
Upon using this lip serum once, I could immediately see and feel the difference. The treatment gently exfoliates the lips, leaving them to look super shiny and totally nourished. There's no sticky residue, it's got kind of a wet feeling but it's not annoying by any means.
The lip serum is really fast-absorbing. I personally don't like the feeling of having product on my lips so I definitely appreciated this.
I like to apply the lip serum as an overnight lip conditioner and also throughout the day, just for an extra burst of hydration.
To use, simply twist the bottom of the dispenser and this will push the serum through the applicator. Not only is the sponge applicator soft and plush, but it's also slightly slanted so it hugs the lips nicely.
Is there anything I didn't like? Sort of.
The lip serum has a slightly sweet taste and this is due to the sugar content. As the product is free from synthetic ingredients, it's safe to eat. However, I don't find the taste pleasant (but this is totally a preference factor).
If you've been meaning to try the brand but don't want to spend big cash, I recommend starting off with the Nourish Lip Serum. It's a great way to test the Biologi ingredients and see the magic for yourself.

The Nourish Lip Serum retails for $24 for 5mL. If you were to compare this to other lip care products, it's not exactly affordable. However, this isn't just your regular lip balm. It's a serum and is formulated with loads of amazing ingredients. So, I think it's worth the money.
