Nike at Big W: Are the discounted sneakers worth it?
The department store has just unveiled a range of Nike sneakers at reduced prices, helping shoppers to bag themselves a bargain.
As one of the most popular sportswear brands in the world, Nike's products are a hot commodity. The sneakers in particular are frequently causing a stir, with many models selling out the very same day they're released.
Now, affordable department store Big W is aiming to help more shoppers get their hands on a pair by offering a select range of discounted sneakers by the brand.
Two Nike styles are currently up for grabs, including the women's Downshifter 9s and the Revolution 5 in men's, women's and children's sizes.
Shoppers can snap up the adults Revolution 5 model for just $70 a pair, which is a definite bargain given that other versions of the shoe sell for $100 on the Nike site.
Where colour options of the Revolution 5 vary between Nike and Big W though, the women's Downshifter 9 sneakers are exactly the same colourway at both retailers.
However, you'll find the pair going for $30 less than the regular retail price at Big W, making this deal one to make the most of.

While Nike sneakers have been available in some Big W stores for several months, it looks as though stock is becoming more readily available.
An eagle-eyed bargain hunter recently noticed the shoes in her local Big W store and posted the find to popular Facebook group Hacks & Product Reviews Australia. The news has since blown up, with several pairs of the sneakers having now sold out on the Big W site.
It is currently unknown how long the sneakers will be stocked for, or whether a larger range will be offered soon. To make the most of the bargains, we recommend getting in fast before your favourite styles sell out.
