Big Bus Review | Pros and cons

Pros

  • Six-month expiry date. Open tickets can be used within six months of the date of purchase.
  • Flexible hop-on, hop-off format. Design your own itinerary or choose to stay longer in places you love without the strict rigour of a pre-organised tour.
  • Book online for better deals. Specials are available for online customers, for example, a free child ticket with a family ticket on weekends, or free entry into popular attractions.

Cons

  • Cancellation fees. If you booked a fixed-date ticket, cancellation fees may apply. Open tickets must be used within six months, after which time they are non-refundable.

How do I make a booking with Big Bus?

You can make a booking online. Choose your destination and ticket and then click “Select a date”, or click “Open ticket” to book a ticket without confirming a date.

If you book online you will receive an E-ticket after your payment has been confirmed. Print the ticket out and present it to staff when you arrive to board your bus.
