The Beyhive is abuzz with the news and we've got the lowdown.

The Adidas brand is no stranger to collaborations and it may have just gone ahead and announced its biggest one yet. The sportswear label yesterday revealed that it has signed on our very own Queen B and we are KEEN.

The new creative partnership will see drops of new performance and lifestyle gear that is set to inspire the next generations of athletes and creators alike. The deal will see the release of new styles of signature footwear and apparel, as well as the relaunch of Bey's lifestyle label Ivy Park.

The Ivy Park line was originally founded by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Green back in 2016. After allegations of harassment and sexual assault were brought against Green though, Beyoncé went ahead and bought out his share to gain complete control of the brand in a move that we 100% support. The move also made her the first woman of colour to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand. Who run the world? Girls.

Though Adidas will be working with Bey on the Ivy Park relaunch, the brand has said that the partnership will respect her ownership of the company. It has also said that the collaboration "will bring to life a shared vision of inclusion that will forever alter the opportunities and landscape for all".

When will the collaboration be available?

As the partnership has only just been announced, there's no word yet on when we can expect to see the new collections. We'll keep you updated as more news drops.

While we await the collaboration of a lifetime, there's plenty of other great Adidas gear to get our hands on. The brand recently revealed a killer Game of Thrones collection just in time for the gritty finale. The label also dropped a truly angelic line with fashion icon Fiorucci earlier this year.
