Lorde- Royals
Nobody saw this song coming and if you say you did, you'd be lying. The world was completely surprised that this then-16 year old girl from New Zealand could come out with such a fresh sound. This song has taken the top spot because of the girl who created it. She walked into the music world with guns blazing and refused to accept it the way it is.

Arctic Monkeys- Do I wanna Know?

Arctic Monkeys- Do I wanna Know?
If you've heard this song, then you will be saying yes, yes Arctic Monkeys- I do wanna know. From the first deep guitar chords you know this song is going to be something special. The vocals seem to echo the style from the 2012 song "R U Mine?" and is a very hard-edged yet fine tuned sound. The tempo in the song keeps it in check and positions it as a Rock classic.
