Why are car dealers running promos?
It's coming up to the end of the year and they want to clear room for next year's model, finish the year with a bang and shift old stock.
When do end of year plate deals end?
It varies, depending on the manufacturer, but generally you need to have your order in by 31 December. Toyota is running its clearance sale until the 31/01/2020. Some may choose to extend them.
What about other car brands?
Many car manufacturers are running promos, so we'll keep adding more to the list as we find them. Some include cashback cards, others throw in up to $2,500 of freebies while others run interest rate deals. Another method is to produce a limited- or special-edition vehicle, specifically for the end of year plate sales.
Am I not just buying an older model?
Yes and no. Many of the cars we've put into our list haven't experienced any major updates for a while now, so you're still technically getting the "latest" model, just with an older number plate. In some cases, the savings could help you offset depreciation.
How can I get a car loan fast?
If you're wanting to jump on these deals, use the below car loan comparison table to get the ball rolling. We also have a car loan guide put together that details the application process and requirements to help you speed things up.
