This account is suited to customers who have a home loan with Bendigo Bank. You can use this account as an offset account against your loan to reduce the amount of interest you need to pay. This could be a convenient option instead of having a separate offset account and everyday transaction account.
There is a $6 monthly account keeping fee, however this is waived if you’ve got a home loan with Bendigo. If you don’t have a home loan with Bendigo, you can get the monthly account fee waived if you deposit $2,000 per month. This deposit condition is higher than many other transaction accounts, so make sure you can realistically meet this if you want to avoid the monthly fee.
The account comes with a Debit MasterCard which you can use in Australia and overseas, in stores and online. You can also link your account to Apple PAy, Google Pay and Samsung Pay to tap and go with your phone. You’ll pay no ATM fees at Bendigo ATMs, or at ATMs owned by the Big Four banks. But if you do need to use an ATM owned by another operator, you could be charged a withdrawal fee.
