Beauty Blender wants to ace your face with a new range of primers for all skin types and tones.

In 2018, the Beauty Blender foundation broke the Internet and frankly, we still can't stop using it. To continue the success, Beauty Blender is launching a new range of primers so you can achieve the perfect complexion. According to trendmood1, there are four different primers and they each have a different purpose. We love this idea. Primers should work in tandem with your skin type; there is no possible way to create a universal primer that works for every person.

Beauty Blender announced the release date of the new products through Instagram. Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars because the primers will be available from the 20 March.

Now, let's talk about what these primers do. If you have oily skin, dry skin, large pores or pigmentation issues – I have some good news for you.

  • Selfie Shield – A dry oil primer which offers multi spectrum protection from the sun and your device.
  • Opal Essence – A serum primer infused with skincare to offer radiance and moisture.
  • The Leveler for Light to Medium – A tinted primer to reduce redness and the appearance of pores.
  • The Leveler for Tan to Deep – A tinted primer to reduce redness and the appearance of pores.

Now you may be thinking... how on Earth is The Leveler inclusive of skin tones? Well, it's not a foundation. It's a tinted primer and doesn't provide coverage so it's okay if it's not an exact match for your skin tone. From what we can see, the idea behind The Leveler primer is to perfect the appearance of the skin and create a solid base for foundation to be applied over the top.

Over the last few days, the brand's Instagram has been saturated with preview pictures and plenty of sneak peeks which is making us so excited! From what we can see, the primers are designed to work with the original beauty sponge, the foundation and the setting spray. We cannot wait to see what's next for the beauty brand.
