Find out when the Beauty Blender Foundation range is set to reach Australian stores.
In July 2018, Beauty Blender announced a change in the brand with the launch of the Beauty Blender Bounce Foundation. It was planned to accompany the company's bestselling makeup sponge. The design of the foundation was unique and beauty fans were obsessed because it was something different.
However, upon its arrival, fans were left a little disappointed over the shade range. There was a lack of shades for deeper-skin tones. The foundation was loved by many, but it wasn't including everyone in the beauty community.
Fast forward six months and the brand has released eight more shades to join the collection, bringing the total numbers of colours to 40.
Founder of Beauty Blender Rea Ann Silva commented on the announcement via the brand's Instagram account. "When we started developing Bounce our goal was to launch with 40 shades of foundation. We were able to perfect 32 of those shades in time for our launch, all while continuing to work towards our initial goal of 40.
"There was so much excitement around BOUNCE that we immediately got right to work meticulously shade matching the remaining 8 blends. This way as many people as possible can find their shade in this truly amazing formula. And we are not done – there are an infinite amount of skin tones in the world and we will continue to innovate and develop."

The beauty community is starting to take a stand towards brands including all genders and all races. Some describe this as the "Fenty Effect". The major change in the world of colour cosmetics occurred when Fenty Beauty dropped their inclusive 40-shade foundation range. Now the same is expected from all brands, no matter if they are releasing foundations, concealers or powders.
Recently, CoverGirl announced the Full Spectrum colour cosmetics line – with 40 foundation shades.
