"Flawless skin all day every day" and I've never needed a foundation more in my entire life.

In an absolutely fantastic turn of events, everyone's favourite beauty sponge is becoming a completely unstoppable duo.

Beauty Blender just revealed the newest product dropping to its makeup line and it's a foundation. No one really saw this coming from the brand, but it kind of makes sense. Beauty Blenders have become a necessary makeup tool when it comes to applying a range of makeup, not just foundation.

Since the original makeup sponge launched a decade ago, it has made its way into multiple makeup bags around the world, and we think this foundation will be no different.

The foundation is called the Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation with a formula unlike any other. It took two whole years to create this foundation, which means you can tell it's going to be good. It's a lightweight, buildable foundation that you can sheer out or layer for more coverage. Bounce is a long-lasting foundation without the heavy, cakey, drying feel of other long-lasting products.

The most interesting part about this foundation is the finish. Bounce is a matte velveteen finish. "Think of it as just slightly more lustrous than velvet. It looks matte straight on, but it still catches the light for added dimension," explains Rea Ann Silva, the founder of Beauty Blender.

Available in 32 shades, Silva paid special attention to creating colours on the darker end of the spectrum that work for a variety of ethnicities and on different skin tones. You can also apply the foundation with a brush or your fingertips but seriously, why would you? The Beauty Blender sponge and this foundation are literally a match made in heaven.

If all of that isn't exciting enough, the packaging of this is different from any other foundation out there. It actually gives you a spot to play with the foundation. Rather than placing the foundation on your hand, palette or straight onto you application tool, you simply need to place it in the palm of your hand with the well facing up, then pump out a drop or two of the foundation.

So when and where can you buy it?

The best part about this is that you don't actually have to wait too long to buy this foundation.

The Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation will be available to buy on 24 July from the Beauty Blender website and Sephora US. Whether this is an international launch date is still unknown, but we're seriously looking forward to getting our hands on it.

Regardless of the launch date, this beauty will definitely land in our ride or die makeup store, Sephora, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
