The news we've long been waiting for is almost here.

It's been over two years since the release of Rocksteady's last full-blown Batman: Arkham game, Arkham Knight, and unsurprisingly fans have been anxious to hear what the lauded studio has been up to in the interim. Though the team did release the excellent Batman: Arkham VR last year, the short virtual reality experience was more of an appetiser than a full meal, and we at least were left hungry for more.

According to a recent tweet from Gaz Deaves, marketing manager for Rocksteady, our hunger will soon be satisfied and then some. In the tweet, Deaves acknowledged the lack of information coming out of Rocksteady regarding what the studio is currently working on but also promised that "people are going to lose their minds" as soon as Rocksteady does start talking about its current project.

Of course, Deaves has remained cryptic about the specifics of this new project, so we can only speculate on what it might be. Personally, we'd like to see Rocksteady try something drastically different to the Batman games rather than tackle another superhero or comics property. What would you like to see the studio announce?
