This week’s bargain phones: iPhone 8, Samsung Note9 and Google Pixel 3
Grab a pre-Christmas bargain on an Apple iPhone 8, Samsung Note9 or Google Pixel 3 in our weekly round-up of the best smartphone bargains.
Every week, we check the prices for a selection of premium handsets available to Australian consumers. We're a nation that loves smartphones and bargains, so bringing them together feels almost inevitable.
If we've listed a colour after a phone, the chances are it's that colour you can get at the listed price. That's because some hues are discounted based on sales volume by some vendors.
Prices are as advertised on each vendor's website on 3 December 2018. Availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.
iPhone 8 64GB
In 2018, Apple's lowest-cost "new" iPhone is the iPhone XR. It's an interesting phone, but it's still quite expensive in relative terms.
If you want a more affordable entry point into the world of iOS, consider the iPhone 8. The entry level iPhone for 2017 runs on Apple's A11 Bionic processor, and while the A12 Bionic is a touch faster, it's still a premium option.

Apple bargains are hard to come by, and Apple's price drop on the iPhone 8 as the iPhone XR came in has left most direct importers scrambling to find cheaper stock. Kogan once again has an on-paper cheaper phone, but once you take delivery into account, there might be no difference at all to directly ordering from Apple.
Here are the best deals this week for the iPhone 8 64GB from retailers selling to Australian customers.
