This week’s bargain phones: Save on iPhone X, Galaxy S9+ or Huawei P20 Pro

Alex Kidman 26 June 2018 NEWS

Don't pay full price for an iPhone X, Galaxy S9+ or P20 Pro with our handy guide to the best bargain prices this week.

Every week we check with leading online retailers to find you the best prices on Australia's most popular premium handsets. These are devices that are already expensive in their own right, but that doesn't mean you have to put up with recommended retail prices. A little canny shopping can save you a surprising amount.

To compare, we've chosen the lowest cost version of each handset available with each online vendor. That can often limit your colour choices because some vendors charge more for specific finishes with discounts not available across the range. So if we've listed a colour, the price we've seen is most likely for that colour only.

Prices are as advertised on each vendor's website on 26 June 2018. Availability and pricing is subject to change without notice.

iPhone X 64GB

Apple has just made the public beta of iOS 12 available, which means that it's only a couple of months until we'll see both iOS 12 and the iPhone X's likely successor.

The enduring popularity of Apple's handsets means that bargains are usually on the lower side, but that's no reason not to save a few dollars when you can.

If your budget can't cope with the outright cost of an iPhone X, we've gathered up everything you need to know about the iPhone X, including contract plans here.

Here are the best deals this week for the iPhone X 64GB from retailers selling to Australian customers.

Samsung Galaxy S9+

Samsung's Galaxy S9+ remains our favourite premium smartphone for 2018 by a slim margin, thanks to its fantastic camera, expandable storage and inclusion of a headphone jack, but it's not as though it doesn't have competition. Like most Android handsets, it has also seen some gradual price erosion on an outright basis since its debut at Mobile World Congress 2018.

If you'd prefer a Galaxy S9+ on contract, we've collected everything you need to know about the Samsung Galaxy S9+ here.
