This week’s bargain phones: What’s the best deal on a cheap Galaxy S9+?

Alex Kidman 5 June 2018 NEWS

Samsung's Galaxy S9+ is a great phone, but it doesn't have to come with an immense price if you shop around.

Last week we looked over the best Apple iPhone deals, so it was only fair that we flip the script over to the Android side of the fence and look at the perennially popular Samsung Galaxy S9+.

The Galaxy S9+ sits at the very tippy-top of our best smartphones list at the time of writing, thanks to its combination of features relative to its competitors. However, one feature we're not so keen on is the asking price. You can save a few bucks (and drop a camera lens) if you opt for the smaller Galaxy S9, but either way, Samsung definitely prices its premium phones at the premium end of the spectrum.

For this comparison, we've chosen the lowest cost version of each handset available with an online vendor. That can limit your colour choices because some vendors charge more for specific finishes and discounts are not available across the range.

Prices are as advertised on each vendor's website on 5 June 2018. Availability and pricing is subject to change without notice.
