Expert review

This is the mid-tier card in the BankSA Amplify Rewards range. It has a promotional e-gift card offer, but the $3,000 spend hurdle is relatively high and the card can only be spent at JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings or Myer. Additional value can be derived from the complimentary travel insurance and purchase insurance covers.

How to apply

You can apply for the BankSA Amplify Platinum online in around 10 minutes. Get started by making sure you meet the following eligibility requirements and have all the documents and details you'll need handy.

Card benefits

To qualify, you will need to spend at least $3,000 on eligible purchases within the first 90 days. Eligible purchases include most everyday spend, but exclude things like balance transfers and cash advances.
  • Uncapped reward points. This card earns 1 point per $1 spent on all eligible purchases both in Australia and overseas, with no points cap.
