How to apply for the Bank Australia Low Rate Visa Credit Card

Application criteria

You can apply for the Bank Australia Low Rate Visa online at any time. Before you apply, make sure you check the eligibility criteria and have all your relevant documents on hand to help speed up the application process

  • Age. You must be at least 18 years old.
  • Residency. You must be a permanent Australian resident with a valid Australian address.
  • Income and credit history. You must have a regular income and you must not have been bankrupt.

Required information

  • Personal information. This includes your full name, residential address, email address and contact number. If you aren't an existing Bank Australia customer, you'll also need to verify your identity online using your driver's licence, a Medicare card or passport.
  • Employment information. This includes your employer's name and contact details, and the length of time you've been there.
