Beauty product of the week: Bali Body Pineapple Tanning Oil

Alexandra Hourigan 11 January 2019 NEWS

The Bali Body Pineapple Tanning Oil is now my go-to product for all of summer.

Why we love this product

Being sun safe is obviously super important. And while you should always use sunscreen, I have another product that now accompanies my sun care regime and it's honestly a game changer.

I'd seen Bali Body products circling the Internet for some time but had never tried any of them myself. So when the Bali Body Pineapple Tanning Oil landed on my desk, I was immediately interested in giving it a red hot go.

The oil is enriched with pineapple extract and coconut oil to really soak your skin and hydrate it. However, after some time in the sun I immediately noticed a deepness to my skin that definitely hadn't been there prior. Even after the oil had dried and soaked into my skin, it felt hydrated and firm, really making the product a stand out for me.

One thing that really impressed me was the fact that I didn't burn. I wanted to see how much this product protected your skin with SPF15, so I applied the oil without sunscreen and enjoyed some rays for about an hour. I instantly noticed the increase in my tan but the only parts that burned were sections I accidentally missed with the product, meaning, it does, in fact, protect you from the sun.

Affordability

The Bali Body Pineapple Tanning Oil retails for $24.95. While this may not seem cheap, it definitely isn't expensive either compared to other products on the market. Additionally, a little of this product seriously goes a loooooong way. The ingredients used are also quality so the price point is completely justified.
