Other benefits of Australian Unity Extras Cover

Australian Unity members get access to a range of programs and services specifically designed to keep you healthy. Support ranges from managing chronic illnesses and mental health issues to supporting you through pregnancy. Depending on the level of cover you have, you may be able to benefit from:

  • Receiving mental health support
  • Living with chronic conditions
  • Preparing for parenthood
  • Adopting a healthy lifestyle
  • Receiving hospital care in your own home
  • Looking after your dental needs

How do the costs work?

Extras cover helps provide a benefit toward the cost of out-of-hospital treatments. The percentage back is the amount that your insurer will cover; you have to pay the rest.

An annual limit is the maximum amount you are able to claim for on specific extras services. They reset at the start of every new year and will be different depending on the level of cover you have.
