Tigerair is giving you one last chance at a domestic break these school holidays.

Budget airline Tigerair has extended its Tigerair Tuesday weekly sale in a 4-day bender featuring domestic breaks across its network.

All up there are 22 routes on sale, including Sydney to Coffs Harbour and Melbourne to Adelaide for $55 each way and Sydney to Brisbane from $65 each way.

Eligible travel dates in this sale range from 9 January - 6 February 2018, with specific dates dependent on your chosen flight route.

Bookings can be made via Flight Centre until midnight 21 December 2017.

How good are these fare prices?

By Tigerair standards, these fares are actually quite pricey. At its best, Tigerair has offered $10 flights and $1 return fares. Last Boxing Day it offered 2-for1 flights with fares starting from $59 for two (or $29.50 per person). If you're budget-conscious, it might be worth holding out until 26 December to see what the airline is offering then.

How good are these flight dates?

These are peak period flights, so the combination of end-of-school-holiday dates and the Australia Day public holiday may make the price-point worth it. Compared to other airlines, such as Jetstar, for these dates, Tigerair comes up cheaper for some while a combination of Jetstar and Tigerair fares may work out better for other routes.

For example, according to I Want That Flight, the cheapest fare between Sydney and Coffs Harbour in February is Tigerair at $111 return. However, the cheapest flight between Melbourne (Tullamarine) and Adelaide in January is a combination of Jetstar and Tigerair fares at $105 return.
