Flights across the country throughout 2018 disounted.

Virgin Australia has launched a Boxing Day sale, with flights within Australia starting as low as $79.

Stand-out fares include Melbourne to Launceston at $79 each way, Sydney to Ballina/Byron for $89 and Melbourne to Sydney for $99. See more of our top picks for less than $100 below, or see a full list of fares available.

Virgin’s joining the ranks of Jetstar and Qantas, which have also launched Boxing Day sales. While Jetstar’s fares start at a low $29, those fares do not include bags or meals, and you can’t collect Velocity points on those fares.

Most comparable with Qantas, these fares start at a slightly lower price but include similar perks like checked luggage, food during the flight, entertainment and benefits for frequent flyer members.

These fares are available for travel over a range of dates across 2018, starting from January and going until October, with availability varying by route.

This sale ends at 11:59pm on 28 December.
