Summer in Russia is a dream. With the sun shining mighty overhead and average temperatures sitting around 24°C between June and August, it's the perfect weather to go out and see the sights.
When we hear that an airline is offering cheap flights during this prime visiting period, we pay attention.
Vietnam Airlines is the carrier that can take you there. The airline currently has flights from Sydney to the Russian capital, Moscow, from $798 return. These fares are for select dates between 14 August and 11 November 2017, assisting you to enjoy all the Russian sunshine you could ever ask for.
If you're not from NSW, don't fret. The Southeast Asian airline is also offering cheap flights between Melbourne and Moscow. Prices start at $857 return for dates between 31 July and 11 November 2017.
The last notable flight sale to Russia was late-February when Air China was selling fares for $799 from Sydney. While slightly cheaper than the current sale, its Melbourne to Russia flights were more expensive.
