Australian Dollar

The Australian dollar is the fifth most traded currency in the world. When it was first created, suggestions for its name included the koala, the royal and the austral. Even so, it's commonly referred to as the "Aussie" in forex markets.

Unidad De Fomento

The Unidad de Fomento (UF) is an inflation-adjusted abstract version of currency. It's not in mint, so there are no banknotes or coins. Instead, it's a way to value things like taxes, government securities, pension payments, real estate, rent and mortgages. Because it's inflation-adjusted, a rise or fall in UF would still have the same purchasing power as it did before the change.
