Emirates has just dropped last-minute airfares to Auckland to $315 return, giving you that much-deserved break without cutting into your savings.

The discount is on journeys between Brisbane and Auckland only and on flights between October and November 2017.

Emirates is one of the few airlines that travels between Brisbane and Auckland. No low-cost carriers actually offer direct services, making this not only an exceptionally priced fare, but one of the few options available. That is, unless you're willing to travel to the Gold Coast to connect onto a Jetstar flight.

Being an all-inclusive airlines, all tickets come with 30 kilograms of checked luggage as well as your standard 7-kilogram hand carry, in-flight entertainment and on-board meals. If you're planning to hit up Auckland with a slew of gifts (or fly back with them) this is definitely the way to go.

Seats are on sale until 2 October unless sold out prior.

  • To book. These fares are available to book now through BYOJet online.
  • Want even more bang for your buck? Right now we've got a BYOJet code that you can use to get $30 off international flights, which can slash your fare down to just $285 return. Check it out here.
