Fly budget to save big bucks on trips to Europe.

Singapore Airlines' budget carrier Scoot is at it again, dropping the dollars on flights to one of its most popular long-haul destinations to just $577 return.

In case you're wondering, that destination is Athens.

Right now, you can book flights to the Greek capital from Perth for $577, which is arguably the cheapest we've ever seen them go.

From there, you'll find flights from the Gold Coast starting from $644, from Sydney starting at $669 and from Melbourne from $685 return.

Not too shabby in our opinions.

If you're wondering how the airline does it, being a budget carrier, these fares are only for economy seats. To add luggage, in-flight meals, entertainment or pre-select your seat, you'll have to pay extra. If you can do without, you'll be singing all the way to the bank with the extra bucks you're keeping in your wallet.

Travel is available between March and November, giving you a wide range of dates to choose from. There are a few summer dates in the mix, mainly departing from Gold Coast during July, August and September.

Flights are available only until sold out, so book yours today through I Want That Flight.

How good are these fares?

Flights to Athens on Scoot are getting cheaper and cheaper and you can never go wrong when they're under $600 return for shoulder or peak season (in our humble opinions).

The last time Scoot held a sale like this, flights fell to $566 return – so while not as good as that sale, this isn't too far a stretch off and is undeniably still a steal.
