The best performing companies in ASX trading so far today were Element 25 (E25, up 20.8%) and Deep Yellow (DYL, up 8.7%).

Biggest movers on the ASX Thursday 6 January 2022

Element 25 (E25) was the biggest mover on the ASX today.

Shares in the company rose 20.8% to $1.45.

Element 25 shares lifted on an announcement made to the ASX.

The company noted its Butcherbird Manganese Project in the Pilbara mining region was back up and running following some repair and engineering modification late last month.

The project is back in operation, plus the company said on Monday that it reached a record production of more than 1,200 tonnes in a single day.

Also performing strongly was Deep Yellow (DYL), the energy company.

Its shares rose 8.7% to reach $1.00.

The news is not really based on any company announcements.

Two days ago Deep Yellow Limited advised that Mr. Rudolf Brunovs has retired as a director of the company effective 31 December 2021.
