Largest gains on the ASX Wednesday 2 February 2022

BetMakers Technology Group (BET) was the dominant mover on the ASX today.

Shares in the company rose 10.9% to $0.71.

The rise in BetMakers Technology could be released to yesterday's announcement.

The business notes it record additional relevant revenues of $8,255,234.52 under a commercial agreement with Waterhouse Group.

BetMakers CEO Todd Buckingham commented: "We have previously flagged to the market that we are delighted with the performance of these products and the revenue result for the past six months is certainly evidence of this."

"This deal is obviously a great result for our partners but also a fantastic result for BetMakers to now have a product fully operational in the market that, while this revenue result is great, is really only in the early stages of rolling out globally."

The current market darling continues its impressive 2022, rising by 8.4% today to reach $1.80.

The company was spurred on by a new patent.

"Patents are a hallmark of a company, symbolising the innovation and advantages that differentiate its products and solutions from competitors in the marketplace," said Peter van der Made, BrainChip CTO and founder.

"By being granted another patent from the USPTO, we are able to signify to our customers and partners that the technology we have developed is at the forefront of revolutionising AI at the edge in ways that previous attempts have not been able to achieve."
