Top performer badges for ASX trading so far today go to Nearmap (NEA, up 15.1%) and Select Harvests (SHV, up 14.9%).

Top movers on the ASX Tuesday 13 July 2021

Aerial imaging company Nearmap (NEA) was the standout mover on the ASX today. Shares in the company rose 15.1% to $2.29 as of midday.

"Shares rose after the company released preliminary profit results indicating better than expected growth for FY21," said Finder's investments editor Kylie Purcell.

"Nearmap said its ACV, or annual contract value portfolio, was expected to end at $138.3 million. That's 26% higher than the year before."

Nearmap trades in the software and services sector.

Another strong performer was Almond producer Select Harvests (SHV), the food, beverage and tobacco company. It rose 14.9% to reach $7.46 by midday.

"Select Harvests shared a pleasing update with investors on Tuesday," said Purcell. "Crop volume for 2021 is expected to come in 21% higher than the year before."

"And with health food trends such as almond milk substitutes continuing to grow and droughts in the US resulting in higher crop prices, Select Harvest appears to be in a good position."
