The transition to net-zero is continuing to be a tailwind for lithium provider Core Lithium.

Up another 11% during today's trading, the miner which is a vital cog in electric vehicles is continuing its strong run today. Over the last 12 months, it is now up 407%.

While the company did not make any specific announcements, today's growth could be due to EV producer Rivian, which notes difficulties in sourcing raw materials.

This could lead to a higher lithium price.
