Three options for hassle-free returns.

Online women's fashion retailer ASOS is trialling free returns for all its Australian customers.

ASOS recently announced that shoppers who've made an incorrect purchase or received faulty products can simply return these items, free-of-charge, for a full refund. (Previously, only premium customers who paid an annual fee had that option.)

The returned goods must be in their original condition and sent back to ASOS within 28 days of when they were first received.

Each order comes with a returns form enclosed. Just select the most appropriate reason for your return, package up your items securely (they don't need to be in the original box or bag) and you're good to go.

You can also request a new order if you're after a different size, colour or alternative item, and receive a refund on your original purchase.

There are three hassle-free ways you can return those too-tight jeans or that winter coat that arrived with a broken zipper.

  1. ParcelPoint Drop Off - free service
  2. Australia Post Tracked Return - free service
  3. Courier Pick Up - Prices start from $7.95 or free for ASOS Premier subscribers

ParcelPoint offers customers the option to return items at a local store which is open evenings and weekends. Once you've dropped off your parcel and it has been scanned at the store, you'll be sent a receipt via email and an SMS containing a link to track your return.

Returns usually take up to seven business days to be delivered back to ASOS' warehouse, depending on the returns method. Refunds are then completed within one working day of the product's arrival.

Any refund will automatically be issued back to the original payment method used when the order was placed.

Right now, ASOS Australia and are running an exclusive promotion. Simply use the discount code provided to get 15% off on orders of $50 or more.
